All I know is what I see
I take from life only what I need
All these things we think we need
They never are what they really seem

What is life what does it mean
You think you’ll get by squeaky clean
All the things you dreamt you’d be
But life will be what it wants to be

Can it be we fail to see where all the beauty lies
Afraid to look within ourselves
Afraid of what we’ll find

nooo oh nooo

Look around tell me what you see
Tell me is this the way it’s supposed to be
I don’t know
I don’t know
Tell me now, tell what should be
Tell me what do we need for tomorrow’s dreams

Do you know
Do we know

Can it be we’ll learn to see where all the beauty lies
It’s there within the moment’s time
It’s here before our eyes

Used to believe in transcendence
Used to be believe it’s true
But the father, the son and the prophets
Where are they leading me to
Tell me where are they leading me to

What if there where no religions
What if you had no long wait
What if you just j u s t lived in these moments
Would the world be a much better place
Would the world be a more peaceful place

Your past is born in the moment
Your life you may love or hate
But time is what is just beginning
Your destiny is yours to take
Oh your destiny is yours to take

The word runs on forever
Beneath the rocks and streams
But the gift is your decision
Of what your life should really mean
Tell me what does your life really mean

Your past is born in this moment

I used to hold on to these things
They were near to me so dear to me
That I believed in all you said
But yesterday, yesterday

Oh a two lifetime in our hands
All I’ll never understand

Ohh Yes
Ohh No

But now I know that what we are
Are moments here within these years
But then I’m lost with what I found
Could have been should have been

Oh a two lifetime in our hands
All I’ll never understand

Ohh Yes
Ohh No

That I could be alone again without you
That life would be the strangest thing without you

Oh a two lifetimes in our hands
All I’ll never understand

Ohh Yes
Ohh No

A lifetime spent in you
All I ever knew
I am lost in you

But I now know that what we have
Has always been it lives within
But what will it take for you to believe
In two, and know it’s true

Oh a two lifetimes in our hands
All I’ll never understand

Ohh Yes
Ohh No

Without You
Without You
Without You

How can I ever know
The things they’ve done to you
How can I ever know
All that you’ve been through

But love is a healing thing
And life begins anew
All that this love may bring
I’ll give it all to you

Oh the sadness there
I see it in your eyes
All I know to do
Is stand here by your side

How can I ever know the pain
that you’ve been lived through
How will you ever know
That this love is true

But time is a healing thing
I’ll wait here with you
Of all that which time may bring
May it bring peace to you

In all the years did you ever think
That’d you would be here on this day
All the tears and all the fears
Just to be here on this day

You held the line
Yeah you towed the line
Cause they tell you it’s your way
You paid the price and know the sacrifice
Just to be here on this day

I never wanted it to end this way
All I wanted was another day
I think of all the things I’ve said to you
How was I to ever know this would all come true

You ever think that all you need
Could be found here on this day
Your life your time and the hidden rhyme
It lies here on this day

A moment’s time you’re beyond the line
Will it be all they say
At the rainbow’s end just beyond the bend
You say goodbye to this day

I never wanted it to end this way
All I want for was another day
I think of all the things we’ve done to you
How where we to ever know that this would all come true

A circle of clowns they’re coming to town
So grab your guns we’ll have some fun
A circle of clowns they’re gathered around
They’re nobody’s fools as they now make the rules

A circle of clowns the held us spell bound
Now no one is here there’s no one to care
This circle of clowns they now run our town
How can this be and did we not see

That Wayne’s laying it down
He’s coming to your town
Maybe a few shall die
For Wayne a small sacrifice

He knows the way to sell the show
Down in DC his theater grows
That’s where money buys innocent souls
But there is one thing you should know

Wayne just directs the show
Up to you whether to go
Twenty Six who died
Now tell me who’s on God’s side

A circle of clowns begins where it ends
It lives in the past it’s what has been
In a circle of clowns what can you see
Illusions abound where truth was once free

A circle of clowns like a merry-go-round
They whirl you around before they run you to ground
This circle of clowns they’ve taken our town
How can this be and did we not see

That Wayne’s laying it down
He’s coming to your town
Maybe a few shall die
For Wayne a small sacrifice

He knows the way to sell the show
Down in DC his theater grows
That’s where money buys innocent souls
But there is one thing you should know

Wayne just directs the show
Up to you whether to go
Twenty six who died
Now tell me who’s on God’s side

Do you know the way, Do you know the way
Do you know the way
Do we know the way

She walks among us in a different way
beyond this moment, beyond this day
She speaks so softly of what has been
Oh, if for tomorrow she’d begin again

Ahhh aee Ahh

A new beginning a terrible end
For the two she brought forth
She gave back to him
No rhyme or reason no redeeming tears
She feeds our hunger and our greatest fears

But the one thing she has told,
This thing she carries we all have known

Who can tell her of the thing she’s done
Who’s to forgive her what forgiving one
Who can love her after what she’s done
Oh where is forgiveness tell me who’s the one

Ahhh aee Ahh

I long to see her in the morning light
But the bounds of darkness
Lay beyond this night
She came to me and asked where shall l go
Oh, what do you answer to a broken soul

But the one thing she has told,
This thing she carries we all have known

Who can tell her of the thing she’s done
Who’s to forgive her what forgiving one
Who can love her after what she’s done
Oh where is forgiveness tell me who’s the one

Wandered in to the park last night
To walk among Logan ‘green
The saddest fight for freedom there
Lay battered beneath his feet

The homeless sleep beneath these summer stars
As I wander among their dreams
The faceless souls a tragedy
Lost in the American dream

Oh how can this be
Oh who let this be
Oh how can this be
Oh who let this be

We have fallen into complacency
As our politicians run free
They hear no need no urgency
As they squander so many dreams

They build their bombs then let them fly
As the young and the innocent scream
I hear the words of Ike resound
Be careful of your war machine

Oh how can this be
Oh who let this be
Oh how can this be
Oh who let this be

Step into the park some night and oh, what you’ll see
Step out of your life one day then tell me what we need
How did we ever let this come to be
How will restore our humanity

Oh no this shouldn’t be
Oh no doesn’t have to be

I’m talking to you, I’m talking to me
We let this be
I’m talking to you, I’m talking to me
Can’t you see

Ohh – how can this be?

ohh yes
ohh yes

I like to wake with you in the morning light
I like to lay with you within this light
I said oh yes it’s in this light
It’s all here in this light

Please say to me again all those loving things
They come along with me when I am gone to dream
I said oh yes it’s in this light
It’s all here in this light

She said,
Come and take me in the morning light
Come and love me in the morning’s light
Boy you’ll never know until you try
That heaven’s here before you die

Please stay with me until the time has come
Then in my soul we remain as one
I said oh yes it’s in this light
It’s all here in this light

She said,
Come and take me in the morning light
Come and love me in the morning’s light
Boy you’ll never know until you try
That heaven’s here before you die

She said,
Come and take me in the morning light
Come and love me in the morning’s light
Boy why are you so afraid to try
You’re afraid of heaven on earth before you die

I wonder through time alone
As I call your name
I wonder through these days alone
And I hear the same

It calls to me beyond these years
And then I feel this way
Can it be you’ll never know
And only time remains

Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you

The warmest place I’ve ever been
Is in your hands
The sweetest thing I’ve ever heard
Is yes you can
There I am alone with you as time stands still
Do you ever know the way this feels

Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you

Now I stand in time alone
As I dream of you
Of all the things I’ve ever known
There is only you
Though I am here alone this way
I can hear you say
Can it be we’ll never know
What time may change

Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you
Now I play for you

Martin Luther King you know he had a dream
He never quit, he never left the scene
Now corporations are human beings
I wonder what King would think about that scheme

Now here we sit and play wait-and-see
How do you think this will turn out to be
Who will clothe and feed those in need
Do you really think it will be the corporate machine

Who’s going to testify
Who’s going to say the way that it is
Who’s going to testify
I don’t know
Do you know
Do we know

I look around and see what could be
That life is more than what’s in it for me
Martin gave us a clue in his dream
Sad to say we never found the keys

They say the truth, Oh it sets you free
But only if you’re willing to take the heat
Now look around and tell me what do you see
Do you think it’s time to say the way it should be

Who’s going to testify
Who’s going to say the way that it is
Who’s going to testify
I don’t know
Do you know
Do we know

Now the time has come
Now the time has come
Now the time has come

You need to testify
You need to say the way that this is
You need to testify
And tell them no
You tell them no
You tell them no, no, no, no

Who’s going to testify
Who’s going to say the way that it is
Who’s going to testify
I don’t know
Do you know
Do we know
